We could all use a little pop of color in our lives! If you are a Los Angeles native you are probably already aware that some of the most celebrated works of art can’t be found in galleries or museums, but rather on the streets—the Arts District to be specific! You can now book a walking tour of approximately 2 hours that will take you to over 100 artworks including murals, sculptures, and stencils scattered along the urban streets of Downtown L.A. Guided by a real artist and longtime member of the Arts District Community, you’ll be able to get an inside look and understanding of the history and techniques used in the vibrant world of street art. Making multiple stops along the way including local coffee shops, there’s a good chance you’ll get to meet an artist or two that happens to be there. With the final stop at the Cleveland Art shop, be prepared to possibly come home with some specialized handcrafted art and furniture. Most importantly, remember to snap away! Visually stunning murals make for the perfect addition to your Instagram feed or even a new profile picture. Click here to book your tour for your next available weekend.

Haunted houses may not be an option this year, but what if you could get a similar experience from the safety of your car? Here to satisfy the spooky sensations that the month of October brings is Los Angeles’ first-ever Halloween-themed food crawl complete with a creature safari and a virtual campfire. Known as The Bite LA, the event will be hosted around Legg Lake creating an extra eerie feeling as you make your way through each station. The entry includes eight bites of seasonal grub served by costumed ghouls and other dark entities stationed along the course. Bring a flashlight in hand and shine it into the wooded area surrounding you, you’ll be sure to find monstrous creatures lurking within the trees—hopefully before they find you! Following the food crawl there will be plenty of additional food for purchase including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options for anyone hungry for more. Put your car in park to end the evening at a virtual campfire and listen in on scary stories with your choice of hot cocoa, cider, or coffee. For those wanting to take it up a notch, you can choose to decorate your car for a chance to win a car costume contest. The event will take place from Friday through Sunday from October 2nd to November 1st. To purchase tickets to this spooktacular event, click here.
